Hi-Lites, Lo-Lites & Some Things in Between

It's been quite some time since I've done one of these random updates.  Somehow a month has slipped away so very quickly.  In trying to catch up, here is a tiny glimpse of the past month...

Our Fourth of July was spent with lots of family...poolside, cookout, and fireworks.

One of our randoms...

Folding laundry...

Peek-a-Boo

Alyssa celebrated her very first birthday!

Lyssa riding her new birthday present from Nonna.

And Keira LOVES riding her bike...and is very good at it.

 Sucking down my Johnny Rocketts milkshake!  {I didn't get much}

Look at those toofies!

Someone got into the ink dots!  Just not sure if Alyssa did this herself or if big sister assisted...

At Momma and MiMi's work...

These girls love their MiMi

We actually walked to the park on a day that was below 98 degrees...

Alyssa has been extra snuggly the past couple weeks...not sure if she still isn't quite well from our little bug we had or if she is teething.  Either way she has not been herself lately =(

There's that sweet smile we love

Finally saw Corey for the first time in a couple of months...we sure missed him!

Bathtime!

Such a big girl.

Snacking on Cheez-Its

And watching TV with Daddy

Just help yourself to ice cream for breakfast, Keira...

Giving Cooper a much-needed bath.  Keira loved helping!

Always wearing those rain boots around the house...even on 100 degree sunny days

Goofy girl

I finally joined the "Smart Phone" club...finally.  I've been wanting one for sooo long, and we finally gave in.  And I've been a bit obsessed.  Loving how easy it is to check Facebook, check my blog, look up any and everything, upload pics so quickly, and just everything that it's capable of.  I'm very thankful to have one, and thankful that my husband is willing to have a basic flip phone so that I can have my smart phone =/

Prayers for Fred...Fred is still going through chemo every other week, and is so very sick from it.  Making this very difficult physically and emotionally.  Fred and his family need lots of prayers.  For strength and faith and for less sickness throughout the process.  I hate seeing this family endure this.  But through prayer and faith, we know that miracles are possible.  Please keep Fred, his wife and their son in your thoughts and prayers!  Thank you.

Happy Friday!  Make it a great day!
